Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B with a distinctive mix. Avery Sunshine has appeared on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe, as well as the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her career in music by playing the piano and singing at church. Her music career started in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12 was only released in Japan. It's been remixed several times, and it is a mainstay of her live show. Her voice was also added to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005 she took on the role of the drummer in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls which was a stage production at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for all of the country during 4 performances a day during 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
