Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the character Savitri. Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. She was the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work on projects that were not Malayalam in the year 2015. The actress also signed on to appear in numerous Tamil films simultaneously. Her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu, though the film didn't do well at the box office. To make room for larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she opted from a few films which she started to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. Her Telugu debut was planned to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The movie's release was delayed in 2015 and now is expected to occur after September in 2020. The film will be released under an alternative title, Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
